Distal Radius Fracture Training
This course is 1.5 hours and .15 CEU units. It covers distal radius fractures from the anatomy and kinesiology of the distal radius to evaluation and treatment. The types of fractures and mechanism of injury will be discussed, along with how this affects the recovery. Basic evaluation concepts and treatment guidelines for low and high-impact injuries will be covered. Common complications of the distal radius fractures will be addressed along with treatment strategies.
